November/December 2014

The weather has made me think it really is almost Thanksgiving. A couple of days ago, I was outside in jeans and a sweatshirt. Today, I had to get out my winter coat and gloves. This time of year we can be thankful for every nice day we have.  Hopefully, we won’t have a repeat of last year in January and February with all that snow and terrible cold. Time will tell. Let’s think positive!

Thanksgiving is such a great holiday, and it seems to be overlooked. Retailers are more concerned with the day after Thanksgiving and who’s going to open first. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving with lots of fun, food, family and friends. If you like to go shopping on Black Friday, I hope you find lots of great bargains.

Just one week after Thanksgiving is our Holiday Social, December 4th! I hope you all come and maybe discover the artist inside of you. We will be painting a picture, with the help of an instructor, to take home. I have done this before, and it is a lot of fun. It’s a great way to start the Christmas season. If you don’t want to paint, you can come, have something to eat and drink, and laugh with us as we try to bring out our inner Picasso.

See you there!
