Q. Where were you born and raised?
A. Born in Omaha, Neb., and raised in Des Moines. I lived for 15 years in Arizona before returning to Des Moines in 2000.
Q. Tell us about your family.
A. Me and my little boy, Viggo (a toy poodle).
Q. What is your primary occupation?
A. I am an attorney with the Iowa insurance division.
Q. What are your hobbies and personal interests?
A. Reading, classic cinema, collecting “junk,” learning and applying personal development.
Q. Have you read any good books or seen any good movies lately?
A. I’ve been enjoying Alfred Hitchcock movies.
Q. What are you most proud of?
A. Earning my law degree at age 42.
Q. Tell us something none of us would know about you.
A. I sing karaoke and have won contests singing Patsy Cline.
Q. What is your favorite thing to do in the metro?
A. I really like the Art Center.
Q. What do you enjoy most about MWN?
A. The desserts, of course!
